After graduating from the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine in 2008, Dr. Alex Roher started his career in medicine as a board-certified anesthesiologist. While he knew his calling was is medicine, he wanted to use his knowledge and skills to help people who wanted to change their lives. In 2013 he opened SDBotox, following his true passion for aesthetics. Since then, he has opened 5 locations in San Diego and has acquired a team of some of the best aesthetic injectors, estheticians, and technicians in California. SDBotox has remained a part of Allergan’s top 50 accounts, being a premier medical aesthetics botox center, specializing in Cosmetic Lasers, injectables, CoolSculpting, and more. Dr.Roher is a loving husband and father to two little girls. In his free time, he enjoys boating, skiing, playing ping pong, and spending quality time with his family.

Founder, Brittany De Anda started her path in the wellness industry 12 years ago while competing in the fitness industry. After years of training and competing in the NPC organization she learned the importance of inner and outer health along the aesthetic side of beauty. She opened her first company “Bronze by Brittany” offering a healthy alternative to sun-tanning; airbrush tanning with an eco-certified solution. She quickly went from offering mobile services to a store front in Historic San Juan Capistrano. After two years Brittany went back to school to achieve her esthetic license to expand her portfolio, once completed she expanded her brand to “Raw Beauty Day Spa”. Over a few years Brittany quickly became known as an award-winning Aesthetician, even winning an international aesthetic competition. For almost a decade Brittany continued to service her clients white staying educated on all new technologies and ingredients. In 2017 Brittany opened up her second company in Ladera Ranch called Shredz Gym, a boutique fitness facility. A few years later she opened a recovery and class facility called Movement Recovery, a fitness class facility that offers recovery tools such as cold plunges, infrared saunas, red light therapy and compression therapy to assist in psychological and physiological restoration. At this point Brittany’s goal was to open up a medical spa where she can offer esthetic and wellness services for her clientele and community. Right before Covid-19 hit the country Brittany started her plan for The Med Lounge, the third business she has brought to the Ladera Ranch community. Brittany teamed up with renowned Medical Director Dr. Roher and created a luxurious destination medical spa, The Med Lounge. Brittany designed and chose the best technologies and hired the most educated providers for this clinic and as a group they all strive to provide the best experience for all patients’ age-management journeys. While not operating the companies Brittany enjoys time with those she loves most. Most evenings she spends working out to keep her inner-self healthy. Brittany believes wellness, faith and community are the three most important foundations for her life and she strives to keep those in focus.

“Turning strategy into scale and brands into experiences.” With over a decade in aesthetics and plastic surgery, Britt brings a powerful blend of sales, operations, and marketing expertise. She began her career on the business side, developing a deep understanding of patient behavior and revenue growth, ultimately leading her to her passion for marketing. At Med Lounge, Britt leads brand strategy, campaigns, and growth initiatives, positioning the brand at the forefront of regenerative aesthetics. She’s known for creating elevated, on-trend marketing that feels both aspirational and authentic. Britt believes great marketing builds trust, creates desire, and drives real results. Outside of work, she’s a proud blended mom who loves Pilates and beautifully curated dinners.

Dr. Scott Howell holds a PhD in Health Science, earned while attending Trident University. In addition to that he is a Certified Strenth and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) as well as having an Advanced Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Certification (ABHRT-C). He specializes in Sex Hormone Endocrinology and Metabolism while also focusing his efforts on the nuances of Lifestyle Medicine.

Jerry obtained a bachelor of science and clinical laboratory science degree studying at both the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. He then attended Bethel College Physician Assistant program and has subsequently worked in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and orthopedic spine surgery. He has served as a liaison for Physician Assistants across Western Kentucky to the governing body for the Kentucky Society of Physician Assistants.

Nikki has been a nurse since 2010. She spent the first 10 years of her nursing career working at a local hospital in the Orthopedic Unit, Stroke Step Down Unit, and the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She spent 2020 working in the dedicated COVID ICU; it was working in the hospital frontlines where she grew her nursing expertise, as well as her passion for catering to the well-being of others. After a hard year in the ICU, she decided to refresh and alter her focus to serve others within the realm of aesthetics and wellness. Nikki specializes in laser treatments, neurotoxins, microneedling, fillers, IV Therapy, and is PDO Thread certified. She is always looking for ways to expand her education within the aesthetic industry. Nikki is also a mother of two sweet kids, so multitasking is an all-too-familiar concept to this busy mama! She has a passion for inspiring a fit and healthy lifestyle, loves to read, crochet and camp with her family in her spare time. Nikki is looking forward to serving you!

Annette has been a licensed Aesthetician since 2014. Her passion to gain knowledge for herself and her clients in the dynamic, ever-changing Skincare/Beauty/Wellness industry brought her to seek out working in the MedSpa environment. Annette holds several certifications in skincare, waxing, brow lamination, Plasma Pen, Hydrafacial MD, Pro Cell Microchanneling and body sculpting treatments. She has worked with professional and pharmaceutical grade skincare lines such as: DMK, Skin Medica, IS Clinical, Circadia, Eminence, and Vivier. She is diligent about staying informed with the latest technologies, and cutting edge ingredients in skincare to share with her clients. Being a mom of five, Annette is a master at multitasking. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and in her free time she enjoys taking in a beautiful California sunset, outdoor concerts, hiking, and taking short road trips up the coast.

Aly Piedad, BSN RN, is an aesthetic injector with a passion for facial structure enhancement. With five years of experience in the industry, Aly approaches her work with a commitment to preserving natural beauty and addressing signs of aging. Dedicated to the artistry of facial aesthetics, she strives to enhance her clients’ features while maintaining authenticity. When she is out of the office, you’ll find her at disneyland or skating at the ice rink.

Tanya Marcus PA-C, MSCP, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 12 years of clinical experience dedicated to redefining patient wellness through the lens of functional and integrative medicine, hormone optimization and peptide therapies. She is recognized as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, bringing a wealth of specialized expertise to women navigating perimenopause, menopause and endocrine disorders. She firmly believes that true healing begins with personalized care, comprehensive patient education, and deep collaboration. By taking the time to understand each client’s unique biochemistry, lifestyle, and wellness goals, she designs highly customized protocols that target hormonal transitions, metabolic vitality, and longevity.

Brantley is a licensed esthetician with hands-on experience treating clients since 2022, specializing in results-driven skin revision. She is passionate about combining treatments like Hydrafacial, DMK Enzyme Therapy, and DMK Alkaline to create customized, effective results for each client. Brantley takes a personalized, results-focused approach to every treatment, working closely with her clients to support long-term skin health and confidence. She looks forward to welcoming you into the treatment room and helping you achieve your best skin. Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys traveling and exploring all things health and wellness.

Taylor has been a nurse since 2020 where she started working in the hospital on the medical surgical unit. Shortly afterwards decided to specialize in aesthetics full time. She takes a personalized approach to aesthetic treatments, focusing on natural, refreshed results that enhance each patient’s unique features. She believes healthy skin and confidence start from within, and takes a thoughtful approach that supports both internal wellness and outward results. Taylor prioritizes patient education, comfort, and individualized treatment planning so every patient feels confident and cared for.

Jessica began her nursing career in a trauma operating room before pursuing her passion for aesthetic medicine. Her surgical background, combined with her experience in cosmetic aesthetics, gives her a meticulous eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to patient safety. Specializing in Botox and laser treatments, Jessica believes in enhancing, not changing, your natural beauty through personalized treatments and thoughtful patient education.

With several years of experience in aesthetic medicine, Elena has developed a refined approach to aesthetics, rooted in balance and intention. At Med Lounge, Elena specializes in advanced aesthetic treatments with a focus on injectables, lasers, and biostimulators. She is passionate about continued education and regularly invests in advanced training to refine her technique, expand her knowledge, and stay at the forefront of an ever-evolving industry. Outside of the treatment room, Elena enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, going to Pilates with friends, and spending time with her fiancé and their dog.

Hannah is a Registered Nurse with over seven years of experience in critical care, medical-surgical nursing, and aesthetic medicine. Her ICU background gives her a strong clinical foundation with a focus on precision, safety, and thoughtful patient care. Her approach to aesthetics is all about enhancing natural features and creating refreshed, balanced results that still feel like you. Hannah specializes in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, regenerative treatments, microneedling, lasers, and other aesthetic therapies, with neurotoxins and Sculptra among her favorites. She is passionate about skin health, healthy aging, and building lasting relationships with her patients through education and personalized treatment plans. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys hiking, audiobooks, horseback riding, staying active, and soaking up the San Diego sunshine.

Beauty and wellness have always been a big part of Noelle’s life. As a licensed cosmetologist and certified makeup artist, she’s spent more than a decade in the industry, with a background spanning salon leadership, client experience, and business operations. She’s built her career around helping people feel confident. At Med Lounge, she loves getting to know patients and being part of the confidence that comes with investing in yourself. During her free time, Noelle is always planning her next adventure, getting creative with floral design, or on the hunt for her newest favorite restaurant.
