After graduating from the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine in 2008, Dr. Alex Roher started his career in medicine as a board-certified anesthesiologist. While he knew his calling was is medicine, he wanted to use his knowledge and skills to help people who wanted to change their lives. In 2013 he opened SDBotox, following his true passion for aesthetics. Since then, he has opened 5 locations in San Diego and has acquired a team of some of the best aesthetic injectors, estheticians, and technicians in California. SDBotox has remained a part of Allergan’s top 50 accounts, being a premier medical aesthetics botox center, specializing in Cosmetic Lasers, injectables, CoolSculpting, and more. Dr.Roher is a loving husband and father to two little girls. In his free time, he enjoys boating, skiing, playing ping pong, and spending quality time with his family.

Founder, Brittany De Anda started her path in the wellness industry 12 years ago while competing in the fitness industry. After years of training and competing in the NPC organization she learned the importance of inner and outer health along the aesthetic side of beauty. She opened her first company “Bronze by Brittany” offering a healthy alternative to sun-tanning; airbrush tanning with an eco-certified solution. She quickly went from offering mobile services to a store front in Historic San Juan Capistrano. After two years Brittany went back to school to achieve her esthetic license to expand her portfolio, once completed she expanded her brand to “Raw Beauty Day Spa”. Over a few years Brittany quickly became known as an award-winning Aesthetician, even winning an international aesthetic competition. For almost a decade Brittany continued to service her clients white staying educated on all new technologies and ingredients. In 2017 Brittany opened up her second company in Ladera Ranch called Shredz Gym, a boutique fitness facility. A few years later she opened a recovery and class facility called Movement Recovery, a fitness class facility that offers recovery tools such as cold plunges, infrared saunas, red light therapy and compression therapy to assist in psychological and physiological restoration. At this point Brittany’s goal was to open up a medical spa where she can offer esthetic and wellness services for her clientele and community. Right before Covid-19 hit the country Brittany started her plan for The Med Lounge, the third business she has brought to the Ladera Ranch community. Brittany teamed up with renowned Medical Director Dr. Roher and created a luxurious destination medical spa, The Med Lounge. Brittany designed and chose the best technologies and hired the most educated providers for this clinic and as a group they all strive to provide the best experience for all patients’ age-management journeys. While not operating the companies Brittany enjoys time with those she loves most. Most evenings she spends working out to keep her inner-self healthy. Brittany believes wellness, faith and community are the three most important foundations for her life and she strives to keep those in focus.

Dr. Scott Howell holds a PhD in Health Science, earned while attending Trident University. In addition to that he is a Certified Strenth and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) as well as having an Advanced Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Certification (ABHRT-C). He specializes in Sex Hormone Endocrinology and Metabolism while also focusing his efforts on the nuances of Lifestyle Medicine.

Jerry obtained a bachelor of science and clinical laboratory science degree studying at both the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. He then attended Bethel College Physician Assistant program and has subsequently worked in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and orthopedic spine surgery. He has served as a liaison for Physician Assistants across Western Kentucky to the governing body for the Kentucky Society of Physician Assistants.

Nikki has been a nurse since 2010. She spent the first 10 years of her nursing career working at a local hospital in the Orthopedic Unit, Stroke Step Down Unit, and the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. She spent 2020 working in the dedicated COVID ICU; it was working in the hospital frontlines where she grew her nursing expertise, as well as her passion for catering to the well-being of others. After a hard year in the ICU, she decided to refresh and alter her focus to serve others within the realm of aesthetics and wellness. Nikki specializes in laser treatments, neurotoxins, microneedling, fillers, IV Therapy, and is PDO Thread certified. She is always looking for ways to expand her education within the aesthetic industry. Nikki is also a mother of two sweet kids, so multitasking is an all-too-familiar concept to this busy mama! She has a passion for inspiring a fit and healthy lifestyle, loves to read, crochet and camp with her family in her spare time. Nikki is looking forward to serving you!

With a passion for skin and body sculpting, Charity is all about making her clients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatments. Trained by the best in the industry, knowledge is of the utmost importance; as is staying up to date on the latest treatment and safety protocols. Charity is a certified Coolsculpting and BTL Body Sculpting specialist. Always doing her best to ensure her clients are happy and well taken care of before, during, and after treatments. During her free time, Charity loves spending time with and cooking for her family, taking her dogs on hikes and enjoying the outdoors!

Annette has been a licensed Aesthetician since 2014. Her passion to gain knowledge for herself and her clients in the dynamic, ever-changing Skincare/Beauty/Wellness industry brought her to seek out working in the MedSpa environment. Annette holds several certifications in skincare, waxing, brow lamination, Plasma Pen, Hydrafacial MD, Pro Cell Microchanneling and body sculpting treatments. She has worked with professional and pharmaceutical grade skincare lines such as: DMK, Skin Medica, IS Clinical, Circadia, Eminence, and Vivier. She is diligent about staying informed with the latest technologies, and cutting edge ingredients in skincare to share with her clients. Being a mom of five, Annette is a master at multitasking. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and in her free time she enjoys taking in a beautiful California sunset, outdoor concerts, hiking, and taking short road trips up the coast.

Randi Huxford is a registered nurse specializing is aesthetics, cosmetics, and laser medicine. She received her Bachelor of Health Science degree from Chapman University and her Nursing degree from California Hospital School of Nursing. With more than 15 years of clinical experience in aesthetic nursing, Randi skillfully and artistically performs the highest quality laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, skin resurfacing and hair removal. Her expertise is also demonstrated in toxin treatments and injectable fillers. As an aesthetic nurse, Randi finds it rewarding to listen to what her patients are trying to achieve and provide education and options to help them. Her primary goal is setting up a comfortable trusting relationship with her patients .

Grace Yoon, MPA, PA-C obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Sciences from the University of Southern California. She then worked in oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery where she fell in love with aesthetic care. After gaining patient care experience, she decided to pursue a career as a physician assistant to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide the best patient care possible. After graduating Cum Laude from Loma Linda University’s Master of Physician Assistant Program, Grace returned to the world of aesthetics to promote health and wellness through bioidentical hormone replacement therapy so patients feel great from the inside out. Grace is dedicated to individualizing therapy to every patient based on his or her own needs for optimal care. In her free time, Grace enjoys golf, yoga, pilates, and spending time with her family and friends.

Aly Piedad, BSN RN, is an aesthetic injector with a passion for facial structure enhancement. With five years of experience in the industry, Aly approaches her work with a commitment to preserving natural beauty and addressing signs of aging. Dedicated to the artistry of facial aesthetics, she strives to enhance her clients’ features while maintaining authenticity. When she is out of the office, you’ll find her at disneyland or skating at the ice rink.
